Final Fantasy (official studio MCD) Review Metalfan June 2004 - Score: 78/100 By: Bob Reus After The Silence is a melodic rock/metalband originated from our own country. This collective is rather unknown and new on front. The artistically printed biography makes clear that the band is full of family relatives. We also can read that Final Fantasy (gamefreaks?) is their first offficial feat of arms, leaving a rehearsingroom recording out of account. In the mean time it's been released already for a while (2003) but only lately received at the metalfan.nl editorial staff. From the whole packaging untill the artwork looks very decently taken care of and professional. The four tracks on the disc are average clocking as such 6 minutes, enough to let us hear what these six musicians are able to. Diehard Death/Black fans may trickle down, the occasional gothic rock-fan still can read on unconcerned. ATS isn't like those blackdresses bands, but these kind of releases you might listen together with your parents, so to speak. Ingrid, the leadsinger, has a pleasant voice to listen to. Fortunately shrill heights become avoided, whereby antique glassware at home is protected from a significant shock. The band consists of very experienced and talented musicians, which you can obvious hear! Various topsolo's, a solid rhythmsection, which is associating perfectly to the singingparts. The sound of the bass is a little unpleasant sometimes, as if a military force of frogs are croaking. When can we expect the first full length album? Tracklist: source: Metalfan.nl » |
